Research Interests
My research interests are mainly in the field of Maternal and Child Health, Health Behavior, and Health Care Policy. In the past, I examined access to oral health care for children in Jeddah, initiation and cessation of smokeless tobacco among adolescents in Jeddah, oral health conditions schoolchildren in Jeddah. At present, I'm researching the prevalence of dental sealants and the socioeconomic factors associated with its presence in American children. I'm also studying the trends in the prevalence of sealants in American children from 2005-2012. Currently, I'm also interested in health related quality of life issues.
